June Member of the Month
Summer is approaching and keeping these warm vibes we announce our June MOM, Caitlin McMahon. Caitlin jumped into the KSCF culture at full speed and topped attendance charts during our Show Up or Shut Up challenge. She is incredibly welcoming to helping people in our class settings even with her competitive inner spirit. Caitlin jumped into the KSCF FaceOff and helped her team finish on the podium. You can jump into a WOD with her during our 7:15 am classes or you may see her at one of our community events.

Dancing has always been my main hobby and form of exercise. I did competitive dance until college, and now just for fun. I did ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, etc. I also played soccer, but I was not good… mostly just there to hang out with my friends.
I met Will on our first day of college, and soon enough he started teaching me Olympic lifts and got me into CrossFit. We did it together for a few years in college. Now we get to do class together at KSCF (shoutout 7:15 am crew) and have been loving it!
My favorite wod is any day we do rowing, cleans, snatches, deadlifts, or handstands.
My least favorite is harder to come up with, probably wall balls. Or when Jared makes me do more pull ups after murph prep and I rip my hand .
In addition to dance and CrossFit, I love to read, walk, take pictures, hike, and spend time with my family in upstate NY. I also like to play around with handstands, although I haven’t been practicing nearly as much as I did a few years ago. See second pic below of one of my fav handstands after a hike in California!
